Katherine McNamara was born in Kansas City, Missouri and was the only child to her parents Ursula and Evan McNamara. She was brought up in Kansas city Missouri where she started stage acting at a young age. Then later moved to Los Angeles in 2011 in order to kick-start her acting career.
