Born in San Francisco, California on July 20, 1974, Simon Rex Cutright grew up in Alameda as the only child of Zoe, an environmental consultant, and Paul, a relationship coach.
Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Rex’s father, following the alternative psychology tradition of Stanislav Grof, was a breath-work coach who left when Rex was young.
