Her debut on television came in 1993 with the role of Clare Donnelly in the BBC drama “Down Among the Big Boys,” playing the daughter of Glasgow criminal Jo-Jo Donnelly (portrayed by Billy Connolly).
Following this, she took on various roles, such as Rosie McConnichy in the final series of the BBC comedy “May to December” in 1994 and Heather in the BBC series “Roughnecks,” centered around North Sea oil platform workers.
